We are excited to see your smiles! For more than 3 years, our patients, visitors and team members have helped us protect those we serve by masking in our facilities. Starting today, thanks to low rates of infectious viruses in our communities, masks are now optional at all ECU Health facilities for healthy patients, visitors and team members. 

While masks are optional, rest assured that if you ask, we will mask to provide direct patient care. Safety is our top priority and masks will remain available at all of our hospitals and clinics for anyone who needs one. You can also expect to still see masks in units where patients are most vulnerable.
