There are a few things that define Colorado. The mountains probably is the first but not far behind is the Denver Broncos. Long before the Colorado Avalanche were winning cups, before the Colorado Rockies and Coors Field and even before Doug Moe put the Nuggets on the map, there were the Broncos.

Broncos Country is defined by two traits: passion and commitment. Even after the team lost its first five Super Bowls, the fans kept cheering and remained staunch in the belief that one day, ONE DAY, they would stand atop the world holding the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Flash forward to today and the Broncos faithful have seen that dream become reality three times and even though recent results have been disappointing, their passion still burns as bright as a Denver sunset.

There's a popular saying among Broncos fans: How do you know God is a Broncos fan? Because sunsets are orange," they'll reply. That's why I wanted to take this photo of the Empower Field at Mile High during sunset. There's truly nothing like a Colorado sunset just as there is nothing like the Denver Broncos and their fans.
