in honor of my indoor szn opener next weekend, here are some pics from my last race on a track❤️‍🔥 racing update ⇩

Ran my highest mileage week ever this week (65 miles!!), and had a couple of my biggest workouts ever at the same time. Super excited about being able to open my indoor season next weekend at VT with a classic - the full mile🤩

This time last year, I was recovering from bronchitis & nearly three weeks of no exercise, and was pretty down bad running wise. I was only able to race the second half of the indoor season, where I ran the mile in exactly 4:50 about a million times💀

Needless to say, I’m super grateful to have been healthy and strung together several solid training weeks over the past month to *knock on wood* finally break that 4:50 hill I used to be stuck on😂

I may even get to race my first ever collegiate DMR, which has been a dream of mine ever since starting to run here at Duke, so ya girls pretty pumped(: I’ll of course keep y’all updated throughout the week as we travel and let you know how it goes!!
