This Black History Month we’re saluting our sisters and today we shine the spotlight on Dr Lorreta Chindo-Besong, a GP, teacher and children’s author.
 
General practice gives her the opportunity to engage with local communities, teach, and speak in schools to promote medicine as a career. She also writes children’s books.
 
Dr Chindo-Besong believes representation is the key to change in the the future, and we completely agree.
