Sometimes you just gotta stop waiting for others and just go for it.

I get it, sometimes it is more enjoyable and memorable experiencing a place with others. Maybe doing things alone isn’t your thing! Honestly, it might just be fear that is stopping you from doing what you want to do.

I absolutely did not want to go on my first solo trip. It was in a way, a forced trip and I couldn’t stop crying the moment the plane took off. It was a country I’ve never been to before, I didn’t know anybody, but it was the trip that changed the course of my travels, forever.

If it wasn’t for solo travel, I wouldn’t have met the people I still keep in contact today. Solo travel has opened up so many doors and friendships, and I can only be grateful. Yes, there were a couple of times I wished I was with someone else but for the most part, I’ve never felt more liberated with my decision.
