#TraderJoes Onion Confit Swirls were inspired by two equally beloved French traditions: puff-pastry palmiers and onion confit. They’re savory, they’re swirly, and they eat a lot like French onion soup… if French onion soup was a box of delicious, buttery, bite-sized crackers. 🌀😍🧅

Made for us in France, these crackers begin as sheets of all-butter dough, topped with a sweet-n-savory caramelized onion jam (a.k.a. #OnionConfit) and some Emmental cheese (a.k.a. #yum). Our supplier rolls the dough into long, skinny logs, slices them into “swirls,” and bakes them to crunchy-cracker perfection.
