“As I step away from the ice today, my heart is filled with gratitude and emotions. Being a part of the Colorado Eagles Chicks has been an unforgettable journey. From witnessing their first ever Kelly Cup Championship to watching the Avalanche win the Stanley Cup as our affiliates, I am grateful to have been apart of some of this team’s most historical moments. Dancing for this team and sharing my passion with the hockey community has been an absolute dream come true.

To all the fans, friends, and teammates who have cheered me on, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support and encouragement have meant the world to me over these past four years. The memories we've created together will forever hold a special place in my heart.

To my incredible husband and family, you've been my rock throughout this adventure, and I couldn't have done it without your unwavering love and support. You've always been my biggest fans and I am beyond grateful to have you by my side.

To my coaches, thank you for seeing something in me and taking a chance on me. Through your guidance I have become a better teammate, leader, and woman and will always carry the lessons you taught me into everything I do. 

As this chapter comes to an end, I know that the lessons I've learned and the friendships I've made will stay with me forever. Though it's bittersweet to say goodbye, I'm excited about the new opportunities that await.

Thank you, coloradoeagleshockey for giving me a platform to express my love for dance and share it with the world. To my fellow Chicks, you are all incredible dancers and beautiful souls, and I cherish the bond we've formed.

Here's to new beginnings, to cherishing the memories, and to embracing whatever comes next. I'll always remember the joy and happiness that being an Eagles Chick brought into my life.”

We love you beyond measure, Megan. These 4 years with you have been WONDERFUL. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you and Garrett, and we especially can’t wait to involve you as an alum! ❤️💛💙
