(1/2) Over a year ago, thearcitype and I started to piece together a new project. We wanted to make something fun, something familiar yet also not quite like anything that it was inspired by. Recording this project over the last year was different than we were used to, but damn did I have some of the most fun of my life (as well as about 200 Topo Chico [soft] seltzers).

These songs simply would not exist if not for the amazing group of people that came together on this project. The personnel on the project are as follows:
• ajlew_ - Bass guitar and backing vocals, co-writer on OneTwo, right hand man, and brother for life. 
• thenickguitar - Guitar and backing vocals, eye candy. Peep that there solo on OneTwo. Legend.
• grancetaff - Saxophone, percussion, and backing vocals. Provider of zest and funkmeister to the max.
• land.grebe - Keys. So many keys. The master of flavor. The mensch of the piano bench.
• robertmech - Drums, backing vocals, and moral compass. The voice you hear singing “thicker than a bowl of oatmeal”
• olyviashaw - Additional vocals on Wide Open, Squeeze, and Starting Line. An absolute pro and an insanely talented person.
• Steve Kurz (keyboard.dog) - Additional vocals on OneTwo and Starting Line. My buddy. Steve sat through many a session and his advice was invaluable.
• mattappleton (of Reel Big Fish) - Matt appeared out of the blue and recorded the horns for Squeeze. Took the whole track to the next level and I can’t thank him enough for it.
• The Arcitype - Producer, mix engineer, and additional background vocals, co-writer on Wide Open and Starting Line, Quality Assurance Professional, one of the most brilliant minds I have ever known. Love you dude.
• The cover photo was taken by thelovelylexicreates and the album art was put together by the brilliant joesungrae. I am so glad to have both of these very talented people as my friends.

All songs were recorded at the Bridge Sound & Stage by distorteverything and The Arcitype, and all of the songs were mixed and mastered by The Arcitype. Goooooootta shout-out the Bridge interns, whose heads I fill with falsehoods and who really are the ones that make that place run.
