Tuesday, May 10 marked the fourth official day of the Month of May, and at around 11:22 a.m., the #AnnularEclipse began to cover #IMS.

Track temps cooled, and as the moon covered more of the sun’s surface, the fastest laps of the month to that point began to take shape in this order:

11:27 a.m.: Michael Andretti at 224.927 mph
11:50 a.m.: Raul Boesel at 227.244 mph
12:14 p.m.: Mario Andretti at 228.351 mph
12:27 p.m.: Emerson Fittipaldi at 229.113 mph
12:29 p.m.: Paul Tracy at 229.961 mph
