## Caption

Public Relations major @dylanbarron spent his summer in Washington, D.C. as an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives on the Communications and Marketing Team for the Chief Administrative Officer. CAO serves a non-partisan, non-legislative office that provides support services and business solutions to a community of 10,000 House Members, Officers, and staff.

Throughout his internship, Dylan supported his team through designing and strategizing how best to reach Congress members and other stakeholders. From email marketing to social media expansion into new platforms, one of his projects was to increase the viewership of the CAO on social media. 

Dylan says, “It has been such a great experience to gain first-hand experience working in a fast-paced and special environment in the Capitol.”
