It's Florida City Government Week! This morning, our dynamic Planning & Zoning team, headed up by P&Z Director Roger Clark, held a workshop, "City of Venice Building & Planning 101" at the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce.

Planning & Zoning is one of the most important departments to know when doing business in the City, and Roger has 20 years’ experience in the department.

Takeaways from the presentation included general planning and development in the City, an explanation of how development occurs and the City's responsibilities, and how property gets developed and/or changes get made. Roger plans on making this presentation available to HOAs and other groups in the future. Thank you for your dedication!
