A powerful message from theredheadofauschwitz My grandmother taught me to keep hoping for a better future. She was able to find small joys in the moment. When things were hard, she believed they would get better. She taught me that hope is your future self traveling back in time to let you know you will be ok. I hope you have peace and joy in the now but if not, keep working towards that future person who may just come back to comfort you now. 

This week is shabbos nachamu which means the shabbos of comfort. It’s the shabbos right after Tisha baav where we take the time to be comforted because we know we all in our own little way have the power to bring a better future.
