Brooklyn creatives have a new, intentional gathering space thanks to Marva and Myriam Babel – two sisters who double as entrepreneurs. 👏🏾⁠

Marva and Myriam previously had a cocktail bar (odetobabel) which served as a popular spot for Black and LGBTQ+ people. Swipe 👉🏾 to see the vibes. ⁠

Now, the sisters have opened a space that’s specially designed for the creative professional.⁠
⁠
Their new membership club (babelloft) features a space with a living-room type of setup, along with two bar areas. ⁠

The DJ area is transformed into a workspace during the daytime, and at night, the same space serves as a dance floor.⁠

“Every place will be intentional, and that’s a work in progress,” Myriam told The New York Times in an interview. ⁠
