While I was out of town, my frequent commercial photography associate and partner mkokimoto told me that he entered some of our images, shot for travelnevada, and the truckeeroundhouse, in the aaf_reno awards. Turns out that was a good idea cause both sets won Gold Addy awards. Fired up! The Travel Nevada cover was a team effort, with not only myself and Mike, but also with sydneymmartinez susanmowers brendanebesky and of course tahoe_wild braving the waters of nvstateparks Sand Harbor with Vinnie! This was a fun one to work on to conceive, create, and finish the image for a cover wrap. // The Roundhouse story was truly close to my heart, as a founding Board member of the makerspace, I was delighted to have the opportunity to work with Mike’s gaffing wizardry to create some compelling images to accompany an article I wrote about it for tahoequarterly Arts & Culture section in the winter issue with excellent editing by sylaswright and annajodingman .
