W⚽️ The westernwomenssoccer finished out the 2023 season with a 2-0 victory over McMaster on Sunday.

When we asked Head Coach Martin Painter what his thoughts on the game were, he said "really proud of our performance. I thought that we were excellent, especially in the first half. I thought we defended well, scored two beautiful goals – could've had probably one or two more. I thought second half we managed the game well enough although, credit to McMaster they made some adjustments and caused us some problems but overall, really, really proud of the team".

The Mustangs finish the regular season with a 10-1-1 record, good for top spot in the ouasport West and get a first round bye. Western will host a Quarterfinal game on Saturday (Oct 28).Stay tuned for more details.
