i remember amber, one year ago… or months ago, was so confused about why things kept happening “to” her. but the truth is they were happening “FOR” her. i feel like when things aren’t going well, it’s so easy to ask, “why is this happening to me?” instead of, “how is this challenging me and making me into a better version of myself?”
•
i wish i could go back and give the amber 7-8 months ago a hug. she was in a boot, didn’t run/bike or do anything but lift for 3 MONTHS, wanted to quit running, drop out of school, and cried every. single. day. 
•
amber now isn’t even NEAR perfect… but that’s not the goal. she’s stronger, smarter, happier and HEALTHIER. my love for the sport has come back🥹❤️ but i still wouldn’t change what i’ve went through because it has made me into who i am now. it has led me to where i was meant to be. 
•
i’m posting this to remind you to keep going. you WILL FEEL GOOD AGAIN. be patient and trust that where you are now is all happening for a bigger picture that you just can’t see yet🫶🏼
