Mistakes I Made at My First Jouvert: Learn from me. Be better than me.
Mistake 1: Partying the night before. Went to sleep at 5, woke up at 9, got here at 11. Yikes 
Mistake 2: Choosing to drive instead of using Uber. We spent 40 minutes searching for parking and eventually paid $10 to park in someone’s driveway.
Mistake 3: Forgetting to bring cash. Almost all the vendors there, about 95%, did not accept card payments.

Overall a time was had even under Florida’s scorching hot sun.
