“I see myself working in some business office maybe. Like either in HR or some department or whatever opportunity comes my way…I always wanted to run a restaurant. But it’s like, I have to work on the way I cook. I'm kinda slow, so I need to speed it up, and it’s very high stress so it’s a high-risk job. Who knows, I could go into anything, really!”

Steve Palluotto ‘23 is a business major, with a concentration in entrepreneurship. The senior is “excited, but a little sad” about being in his last year at Marist, but as a senior, has advice for those in the earlier years of college:

“I say take all the opportunities that Marist provides for you. I didn’t do that for a lot of my years here, I took it for granted, I’d say. Going to career services, going to clubs, going on trips, the games. I would also say meet with your professors one on one, try to form a connection with them. That’s really really important, and I’ve really lucked out with my professors. Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself. Put yourself out there, try new things, y’know.”
