Meet Brittany Levy (brittlevy), an nyrr member who is on her way to completing the 9+1 program for guaranteed entry to the 2024 #TCSNYCMarathon. In 2022, Brittany set a goal to run a half marathon in all 5️⃣ boroughs which inspired her to do the 9+1 program. 
 
"Running has been my consistent sanctuary for finding clarity, headspace, and a sense of accomplishment," she said.
 
The 25-year-old said there's no feeling quite like "game-day nerves" before a race. It reminds her of what she felt before stepping on stage for a dance competition when she was younger.
 
"It's a somewhat comforting sense of discomfort - a sign that there's something big and exciting ahead," Brittany said. "Overcoming game-day nerves has helped me be at ease in other stressful times in my life...confronting any curveball life hurls my way." 💪
 
To complete her 9+1, Brittany is planning on running the #TedCorbitt15K, the #AbbottDash5K, the #RaceToDeliver, and the #NYRRFrosty5K. She's also volunteering at the TCS New York City Marathon.
