## Caption

Five years. The University community remembers, mourns and honors the lives taken in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting on Oct. 27, 2018. Lives interrupted; absences that cannot be filled, only held at the edges. Pittsburgh came together in the aftermath of that unthinkable antisemitic attack to declare we were #strongerthanhate. And we must keep declaring it: We are stronger than hate.
