Forever and every day after

When I sat down and thought about our engagement day I just got overwhelmed with thankfulness that 1) I get to marry my best friend 2) He had the most detailed, sweet proposal planned 3) I have so many amazing friends who celebrated us all weekend and received so much love from everyone.

With that said- I realized how the stadium was the only place for our proposal story. I know to many it looks like a football guy proposing to his girlfriend on the field he’s made so many memories at.. It’s really the opposite though. The choice to go to Clemson is what opened the door to our future together. This stadium means so much more than the tangible gifts it’s given us. This place represents our love. Clemson made it possible for our relationship to maintain and grow. Clemson brought me my best friends. Clemson brought me community, mentors, a church. So when I think about this place and this field and what it means to me, it means a place where I have been able to see Gods love firsthand, a place where I got to fall in love again, and a place where I found family and friends. It’s not just a field or a stadium, but a place our Father used as a vessel through a gift he gave Trevor to grow our relationship with him and with one another. Clemson will forever hold a special place in our hearts and all the gifts that have come with it 🤍 Thank you Jesus that I get to marry Trevor and that you’ve always had your hand over every part of our story.
