pickeringcasino, located in Pickering, Ontario, installed a #MeyerSound audio system this year in their primary venue, named “The Arena.” The multipurpose event space is designed to host a wide range of programming, including concerts, boxing matches, corporate, and special events. The audio system was supplied by alignedvisiongroup, with support from our Canadian distributor, gerraudio.

“The Meyer Sound system provided the intended coverage, gave us the flexibility of control through the GALAXY software, and a familiar interface for touring artists,” said AV Group Senior Project Manager and Partner Guy Wallace. “The intention for the design was a portable system, so going with self-powered loudspeakers simplified that because we didn’t have to deal with moving multiple amplifier racks around.”

The main system features 18 LEOPARD compact linear line array loudspeakers, 9 LINA very compact linear line array loudspeakers, 12 900-LFC compact low-frequency control elements, eight UPQ-D3 and five UPQ-D2 full-size loudspeakers, seven ULTRA-X20 compact wide coverage loudspeakers, two ULTRA-X42 compact loudspeakers, and four Galileo GALAXY Network Platforms. The stage monitor system includes 10 MJF-210 high-power stage monitors, two UPQ-D2 loudspeakers, and two 750-LFC very compact low-frequency control elements.
