It’s been 4.5 years since I took my first solo trip, and 4 years since I left everything behind me to solo travel the world. These last few years have been full of nothing but growth, self-reflection, self-love, and introspection. I’ve had the most ups and downs I’ve ever faced in my life, but will confidently say that it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself ✨

Traveling alone can be scary and intimidating. But it’s also so freeing and liberating. It’s true when they say that travel opens up your mind and changes you, but I can also testify that there’s an energy to solo travel that’s unmatched to anything else. If it wasn’t for solo travel, I wouldn’t have met the people I met today. If it wasn’t for solo travel, I wouldn’t have created such unique experiences that remain in my memory forever. If it wasn’t for solo travel, I would have never willingly faced challenges just because I ‘wanted’ to.

Not all these photos were taken solo, but all photos were taken with those I’ve met along my solo travel journey. I talk about this journey like it’s come to an end, but I’d like to say that I have been taking my time to heal and slow down 🖤
