The annual Halloween 🎃 party in the desert did not disappoint! Over one thousand trail runners brought their passion and their best costumes to race the 100-mile and 100k javelinajundred 🎉.

Here are the highlights from the HOKA elites:

🥇 The women’s 100 miler was won by hjacksonracing, who notched the second-fastest course time in history to claim the title. The HOKA athlete and Ironman star averaged 8:38-mile pace while winning in 14:24, 31 minutes ahead of runner-up Ragna Debats. Jackson’s performance is an improvement on her fifth-place showing last year, which marked an exciting introduction to the sport of trail running.

🥇 A year after finishing second in 13:05, jonrea_sayray topped the podium in the men’s 100 miler. The HOKA athlete blazed a winning time of 12:43, shattering the 12:58 course record set by Dakota Jones last year.

🎫 As a result of their respective 100-mile victories, Rea and Jackson both earned Golden Ticket entries into the 2024 Western States 100. The strong results for HOKA trail athletes in the 100 miler didn’t end there: ryttaff placed sixth overall in his debut 100 miler, and nblaes finished fifth in the women’s race.

🏆 Continuing his impressive streak on the trails, lightningraj won the men’s 100K. The HOKA Aggies runner claimed the title in 7:15:53, well over an hour ahead of the next men’s finisher. As a result, the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier shattered the previous 7:31 course record set by Scott Traer last year.
