## Caption

This #Halloween, we're bringing you something that seems straight out of a horror film. It's a bit creepy, but also very cool.

This sea slug can self-decapitate and roam around, business as usual, without a heart or anus. In about three weeks the slug regenerates a whole new body. 

Researchers believe these critters do this when their body becomes infected with parasites and that they are able to regenerate possibly by synthesizing nutrients from photosynthesis — like a plant.
