We have a new butterfly garden at the Mebane Community Park!  Did you know that fall is the perfect time to plant North Carolina native plant species? The foliage may not look like much now, but planting in fall gives the plants time to establish their roots before any extreme weather and helps to ensure vigorous growth in the spring!
