What a weekend! Raising the Barre featuring Twyla Tharp was a blast!
 
Huge thank you to Twyla for providing invaluable insights to the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School students and participating ABT National Training Curriculum Certified Teachers. The panel discussion and coaching session during the dance battle at the end of the day were highlights for all 🌟
 
Thanks also to the wonderful Stacy Caddell and John Selya for teaching Tharp repertoire all weekend, and to abtofficial Regisseur Susan Jones for sharing Twyla stories and advice for our students. 
A special thank you to ABT NTC Artistic Associates, Franco De Vita and Raymond Lukens, ABT JKO School Faculty Caridad Martinez, and ABT JKO School Artistic Director Stella Abrera for getting each day started with classical ballet technique classes. Bravo, dancers and teachers, for tackling some challenging (and FUN) excerpts from iconic Tharp ballets!
