#ad Whether you love cheese or you’re sticking to something plant-based, I’ve got a delicious slow cooker queso recipe for you! One is totally vegan and one is nice and cheesy. Both of these recipes are quick and easy to make and perfect for sharing! If you’re having a party, you need the Proctor Silex® 6 Quart Double-Dish Slow Cooker.

I love this slow cooker because you can use it for one large meal like soups and stews or you can use the dual inserts to cook two things at once! It also keeps dips like this nice and warm. It’s easy to clean and dishwasher-safe. Whether you’re making dips to share or soup for the family, it’s perfect for all of your holiday entertaining! 

Here are the recipes for these tasty dips:

For the vegan queso:
1 cup cashews, soaked
½ cup nutritional yeast
1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 teaspoon each onion powder, garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili powder, cumin and salt

For the cheesy queso:
8oz cream cheese
8oz green chilies
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
.
In a blender, add the soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, diced tomatoes, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, and salt.
Blend until completely smooth.
Pour the mixture into one half of the dual slow cooker.
In the other half, add the Monterey Jack cheese, cream cheese, and finely chopped green chilies.
Cook on high for 1 ½-2 hours, stirring once after an hour. Enjoy!
