The work never gets easier, you just get better. I’ve been wrestling since I was six years old, and I’m still in the lab finding ways to improve.

Every year before the start of the season, I ask myself, “Is it worth it?” Am I willing to put in the amount of work that it will take to be the best in the world? The answer is always “Yes.”

I’m 32. I could quit now, be a Hall or Famer, and reflect on all the good times in a legendary career. But I’m not built like that.

I’m designed for the challenge.

So as I wake up sore this morning, feeling the pain of 26 years in this sport, I remind myself of this —

I’d rather live with the ache of hard work, than the pain of regret.

I’m not going anywhere.

Special thanks to the good people @weckmethod for taking the time to get me right. We only get better from here.
