Kevin Harvick's NASCAR legacy will not defined by his trophies but by how he built his career.  

He was thrust into the fast lane during a tragedy and carried the hopes of NASCAR fans who had just lost an icon when he climbed into the No. 29 with Richard Childress Racing. With the circumstances and pressure, it would have been easy to stay in the shadows forever.

But the kid from Bakersville was destined to create his own legacy. And Kevin Harvick did — in his own way, without apology. The tough-as-nails racer built a reputation for his fiery attitude and race-to-win mentality. “Happy”, wasn’t afraid to show when he wasn’t “happy”. 

It didn’t take long for him to rack up wins as well as off-track moments that fans will 4EVER  remember.

After 13 years at RCR, the opportunity struck to join his buddy Tony Stewart's team at Stewart-Haas Racing. Harvick, unwavering and loyal to the people in his corner, grappled with an exit from RCR. But for the Closer, it was time to take a chance on himself.

And that decision would change his career and SHR 4EVER.

His bold move paid dividends. In just his first year at SHR, Harvick raced to a NASCAR Cup Championship. And the winning didn’t stop there. 

As we reflect back on Harvick's career, it's not the wins that define him, but the way he did. Harvick did it his way and built one hell of a legacy. We're all #4EVER proud.
