“Every night I dream of you.. then you’re not so far away”

I'm eternally grateful to sing these lyrics with you every night!
You may know this, or you might not. But, this is a really special moment for me during our set.

During December of 2019 when I was going through all of the emotions that I later poured into the song “Last December”, I was having wild, vivid dreams. These dreams are not uncommon for musicians. Dreams of arriving on stage to a packed house and forgetting the lyrics, dreams of a band member missing while trying to start the show on time, dreams of myself being the one that’s missing knowing that I’m supposed to be onstage. Or even dreams of an emotional and perfect show!
Instead of these dreams happening every so often; this was happening nightly. 

See during this time, Butcher Babies had taken 2019 off from touring (my therapy) to write and record. Yet, by the end of the year, I felt so so lost.. I felt like these dreams were my only grasp to what gives me life; the beautiful energy we exchange between the stage and you! I believe these dreams were a lifesaver. They connected us when I needed you the most. 

I can’t thank you enough for saving me.
