Aurora officer Nathan Woodyard was acquitted of charges in connection to the tragic death of Elijah McClain. Despite putting McClain in a chokehold, claiming self-defense, and facing accusations of failing to provide a necessary medical follow-up, Woodyard was found not guilty.

Woodyard’s defense sought to distance him from the paramedics who administered a fatal dose of ketamine to McClain.
