A few days ahead the next round of Global #PlasticsTreaty negotiations, @greenpeace.de has uncovered Europe’s dirty plastic secret 💰

The EU has banned many single-use plastics BUT it has found a solution to enable the big chemical companies to continue making a lot of money: export them to South America.

The world urgently needs to prevent the toxic EU-Mercosur trade deal and negotiate an ambitious Global Plastics Treaty to curb plastic production everywhere.
