Most of us are looking for something we misplaced daily. 
*Americans spend an average of 2.5 days a year looking for a lost item. 
*The most commonly lost items are keys, phones, and wallets. 
*40% of lost items occur in public places.
*About 75% of lost items are eventually reunited with their owners. 
*The estimated value of lost items in the US is over $5 Billion per year!!

No matter what good habits we put in place we will always misplace things.  Here are a few pointers to keep from losing your most common belongings:

1. Create a "home," a designated place for your things, a place that makes sense for you. 
2. Make it a daily habit to place your items in it's home. 
3. Make it a routine.
4. Take photos of where you place certain items that regularly gets misplaced.
5. Use tracking devices like Air Tags.
