Here’s what Founder + CEO, amy.suzanne_ , has to say about trying to conceive over the age of 35:

1️⃣ Age is just a number. There is a huge debate on 35 being the “cut off” age for fertility, but I don’t agree with that. Conceiving after age 35 does have its challenges, but it’s by no means impossible!

2️⃣ The most common issue women over 35 face is their egg quality and quantity will begin to decline. While the total number of eggs cannot be increased, research has shown that egg quality CAN be improved. Supplements like our Fertility Support are a great way to help improve your egg quality.

3️⃣ You’ll need to start recording your basal body temperature and cervical fluid to help pinpoint the best time to have intercourse while trying to conceive. These fertility signs will also help you reveal if you are ovulating regularly!

4️⃣ Don’t wait to ask for help! If you are 35, ask about fertility testing if you aren’t pregnant after six months of trying. If you’re over 40, start the conversation with your care provider before you even start trying.

Important diet and lifestyle changes can have a huge impact on your fertility success, such as avoiding sugar, cutting back on alcoholic drinks, reducing your caffeine consumption, and alleviating excess stress.
