peace out xc 🫶💫

this season was different from the rest in many ways, both positive & difficult, but i wouldn’t trade the lessons & bonds made for anything 🤗

haven’t shared too much about it, but the entirety of last year, i felt like i hit a plateau w running. it’s frustrating to keep giving your all in practice & not seeing results

but this fall i took a step back & tried looking at the bigger picture. i’m not going to run professionally by any means, but i can make a positive impact on the people i’m surrounded with

it’s not times on a clock that make running so special, it’s the teammates & friends who cheer you on during the highs and help you push through the lows

times will come & i’m thankful to end this season on a more positive note in that aspect :) haven’t PRed in xc since freshman year. & this last race i was able to walk away w/ little PR. not a crazy speedy time in the grand scheme of college running, but i’ll take the little personal wins 🥳

if you read to the bottom, thank you 😊 & i hope this resonates in some way 🫶

taking a running break now, then we’ll be onto track 😼
