"I relay for my Epa, who battled bladder cancer for 3 years. After chemo and the removal of his bladder he has been cancer free for 5 years now. I relay for Darina and Joyce, both women who impacted my life tremendously and both lost their battle to breast cancer in December 2018. Darina was my volleyball coach in spring 2017 who had been in remission for over 5 years. In October of 2017 she had gone to the doctor with shortness of breath and was later diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer which had spread to her lungs. Joyce was a family friend who had been battling breast cancer for over 4 years."
