This week's #WorkoftheWeek is "Study of a Fig Tree" (Oil on canvas, 1908), created by John Singer Sargent. Painted in Majorca, Sargent depicts the natural intricacies of a fig tree by capturing undulating green and yellow fig leaves in an abstract manner.
