This week’s featured #YSCalumni is Kleberson Pereira! We were thrilled to catch up with ‘Kleb and find out what he’s been up to since graduating yscacademy 

𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧:
- Class of 2022

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙔𝙎𝘾 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙮?
- After graduation, I went to Penn State University. Penn State has been an amazing experience. I have learned so much already, and I feel like i have improved on my professional pathway. My favorite part of Penn State is the academic challenge that it provides on a daily basis, as well as the amazing campus and events. Right now I am in my sophomore year, and majoring in Kinesiology. At the moment, however, I am in Brazil for an internship opportunity, and taking online classes. I am now interning with the medical department of Athletico Paranaense ( athleticoparanaense ) - a professional soccer club here in Brazil. I have also been able to observe several surgeries in orthopedics with my uncle, who is a doctor at HMASP (a military hospital located in San Paulo, Brazil) 
I’m thrilled to be interning for a club that I used to play soccer for, and it has been a truly incredible experience for me. After graduation, I plan to continue pursuing the medical and health field, either as a medical doctor, or a physical therapist.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙔𝙎𝘾 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚?
- at YSC, one of the things I learned most was time management. I had to balance playing soccer at a high-level, and taking classes at the same time. It was a challenge, but it was a good challenge, because now I feel more prepared for what I am doing in my field. Because of my education from YSC Academy, I feel ahead of my peers in terms of being able to handle the demands of the medical field.
