After opening comedortx in Austin, Texas in 2019, Philip Speer started running with a few chefs at the restaurant before their shifts. Soon, other people in the restaurant industry took notice, and the group grew to over 60 runners in a few months. 🍳👟 

Now, Comedor Run Club (comedorrunclub) continues to offer an inclusive space for those in the food and beverage industry to connect. After long hours of service, the group’s weekly runs provide a refreshing alternative to post-shift late nights and a community that supports the health and wellness of its individuals.
