**About Us**

The Staten Island FerryHawks are dedicated to creating a vibrant, fan-first experience on and off the field. From ballpark signage and promotional materials to social media graphics and community campaigns, our design team plays a crucial role in telling our story. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative **Assistant Graphic Designer Intern** to join our Marketing & Entertainment team for the Fall 2025 semester.

**Position Overview**

The Assistant Graphic Designer Intern will support the creation of marketing materials and digital/print designs for social media. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in sports design, brand development, and live event marketing.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist in developing **creative concepts** for marketing campaigns, theme nights, and fan engagement initiatives.
* Create and update **graphics for social media, website, and email campaigns**.
* Design **print collateral** such as flyers, posters, signage, and promotional materials.
* Maintain consistency with the FerryHawks’ **brand guidelines and visual identity** across all platforms.
* Collaborate with the Marketing and Entertainment teams to **brainstorm and execute new ideas**.
* Help organize and manage creative assets for **future use and reference**.

**Qualifications**

* Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in **Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field**.
* Proficient in **Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop** (InDesign and After Effects a plus).
* Experience designing for **print production** (file setup, bleeds, sizing) preferred.
* Ability to work on multiple projects in a **fast-paced environment**.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

**Learning Outcomes**

* Hands-on experience designing for a **professional sports team**.
* Portfolio pieces in **digital, print, and event marketing**.
* Exposure to **live event branding and in-game entertainment design**.
* Practical knowledge of working within a **brand system and creative workflow**.

**Compensation**

This is an **unpaid internship**; students must seek academic credit through their college or university.
