**Job Description:**

Armchair Expert is seeking a highly creative, analytically minded, and experienced Social Media & Content Strategy Lead. A specialization in YouTube and TikTok is preferred. This role is ideal for someone who has experience with social media algorithms across major platforms, content creation, storytelling, and using data to drive engagement. You'll support the strategy to grow and optimize our presence across major social media platforms and execute on this through the creation and distribution of short-form video clips from our podcast episodes on multiple platforms. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Content Creation: (YouTube + TikTok)**

* Identify compelling moments from podcast episodes to turn into short-form video clips.
* Edit clips with captions, music, and Armchair Expert branding.
* Schedule and post clips across key social channels.
* Maintain consistency in voice, tone, and aesthetic across all social media platforms.

**Strategy & Analytics:**

* Develop and execute a social media strategy aimed at audience growth and engagement across multiple platforms.
* Analyze engagement metrics to assess which types of content are resonating and why.
* Research and test new social media strategies to increase engagement. 

**Qualifications/Background:** 

* Considerable experience in social media management, ideally for entertainment, podcasts, or digital content brands. Emphasis of experience in YouTube, TikTok and current digital and cultural trends.
* Proficiency with video editing tools and other content generation platforms.
* An independent collaborator that has experience working in ambiguous environments and a sense of creativity and storytelling for short-form content creation.
* Comfort with creator analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Sprout Social, or native platform insights).
