Deputy Steve Pich helps Courthouse Judge during medical emergency. On Friday, November 19, 2021, Deputy Pich was inside the Mecklenburg County Courthouse when a judge appeared to be suffering from symptoms of a heart attack and collapsed. Deputy Pich immediately began to render aid and called for medic. An AED was provided until medic arrived and the judge was taken to the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with the judge and we are grateful Deputy Pich was there to assist!
