#ThrowbackThursday is back, and this week we have the alumni spotlight on 2019 YSC grad tomasromero10 ⚽️ 🧤 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚: - Tomas Romero 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧: - YSC Academy Class of 2019 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣? - After graduation, I attended Georgetown University. My first year at Georgetown, I helped our team win the national championship, which was exciting. The following year was covid, and while that impacted soccer, it gave me an opportunity to continue working hard in school and led to new programs at the university that would help me soon after. In 2021, I decided to leave Georgetown to pursue a professional career with LAFC. I always wanted to go pro, and when there was interest, I took the chance. Because of the new educational opportunities born out of the pandemic, I was also able to continue my education with Georgetown by taking my classes online.
