From thecraftyscienceteacher : "Sometimes when we’re planning out our lessons it’s hard to keep track of all of the pieces that come into play when we need to create resources to accommodate students. One year I had a class period with a majority of my students being English language learners. We had maybe 4 language dictionaries for them to share 😳. Not only that, but a whole dictionary for students to flip through? That didn’t work out so something I created was a word wall, and these little flip charts. Nothing too fancy, we just needed key terms that showed up a lot and access to the translation. 📌Keep key terms/vocabulary accessible to students, place a flip chart on their desk everyday (or have a designated area for them to grab) or hang a word wall or both!
