The coziest holiday dinner! I love a holiday fondue party because it’s simple to do and fun for everyone. It’s also absolutely delicious. Each one of my guests got to take home and adorable cheese ornament 🧀🌲 Everything on the table is from williamssonoma including the mini tree, wreath, glasses and cocktail mix! Here’s my favorite fondue recipe:
Fondue
12 ounces Gruyère cheese, coarsely shredded
6 ounces Emmentaler cheese, coarsely shredded
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1 large garlic clove
3/4 cup white wine
1 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
In a medium bowl add the cheese and toss with cornstarch.
Add the wine, garlic, and lemon juice in a medium sauce pot.
Turn the oven to a simmer and stir while the cheese melts.
Once it has melted, transfer it to a fondu pot and light the bottom to keep it creamy and melty.
