It’s simply NOT enough for you to just promote yourself.
WHO champions you, the reputation and trust THEY have with others matters.
If you’re not getting smart, trustworthy people to BACK you when you’re NOT in the room, you’re MISSING OUT and your PR is completely inefficient.
There’s no ripple effect to what you’re doing.
It’s just the power of a lonely 1.
Take Tuesday’s luncheon for example.

BUT their books were.
And their champion was (moi!).
And some of the journalists who had ALREADY written about them were.
