Salazar has been in the top echelon of U.S. professional referees for two decades, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this webinar. Starting out as a referee as a teenager in 1985, Salazar officiated his first Major League Soccer match in 2000. He began working as a FIFA official in 2005, and became a full-time USSF referee in 2007. Salazar served on a FIFA Panel from 2005 through 2015. He has officiated in the MLS Cup in 2011 and the MLS All-Star match in 2009, and called the 2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final. He worked variously as a referee, 4th official, and Video Assistant Referee throughout his career. Salazar has also officiated many important CONCACAF Champions Cup matches, including the CONCACAF Champions Cup Semi-Final between Pachuca CF and CD Motagua, and the 2009 Pan-Pacific Championship. ...
