“Recommended camera settings” is the best new feature, hands down. Change my mind.. - After a week of use with the new DJI Mic 2, I can say for me personally, I’m happy with the upgrade but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. - Honestly, I just like to simplify things in my life as much as possible. Especially if it’s something i use almost everyday. The upgraded DJI mics check some boxes for me in that sense but for others, it might not matter that much. - Being able to tell the receiver what camera I’m using and have it automatically adjust to the perfect settings is a huge time saver. Pair that with the 32bit float and it’s literally impossible to have “bad” audio. - I typically run all of my audio through Adobe AI after i record to clean it up a little but with these new mics i haven’t done that at all.
