This past weekend I had the opportunity to travel to Buffalo, NY to speak to three inner city schools about life and career development.
We visited three schools on the speaking tour and visited with hundreds of students.
I was amazed as I talked individual students and learned about their drive, inspiration and motivation to accomplish great things.
Especially considering 50% of the students in this area live BELOW the poverty line.
My favorite part of the trip though was getting to have one on one conversations with students about mental health and entrepreneurship.
I talked with multiple students about my journey with depression, anxiety and ADHD and was able to help them learn and get connected with resources within their schools.
And I talked with multiple students about businesses they were building at 17 years old. And let me tell you, this next generation is WAY ahead of the curve.
